Love this little gadget; it makes perfect, runny poached eggs. It takes some cleaning of the egg whites between the slots after putting it in the dishwasher, but it's worth it!

Set the microwave timer to 70 seconds. Remove, drain the water, and serve. I wanted the yoke to be runny so this worked for me. Have fun!

The egg white does NOT "leak to the bottom". It remains above the colander somewhat suspended in the water. (As you can see in the pic, plenty of egg white). Easy to clean. Safely microwaveable.
